Digital SAT — the short version

The Digital SAT is a two-hour-fourteen-minute adaptive test scored from 400 to 1600. It has two sections — Reading & Writing (two modules of 27 questions in 32 minutes each) and Math (two modules of 22 questions in 35 minutes each) — delivered in the College Board Bluebook app. Because the test is module-adaptive, performance on the first module decides the difficulty of the second, so accuracy early in each section has an outsized effect on the final score. Tabish Tutors teaches the Digital SAT one-to-one online with full-length Bluebook-style mocks and a written error log after every paper.

What we cover

Full SAT coverage — nothing quietly skipped

We teach to the specification, not to a summary of it. Here is exactly what is on the table.

Reading & Writing

2 modules · 27 questions · 32 min each

  • Craft & Structure — vocabulary in context, purpose, cross-text connections
  • Information & Ideas — central ideas, command of evidence, quantitative evidence
  • Standard English Conventions — boundaries, punctuation, agreement
  • Expression of Ideas — rhetorical synthesis, transitions

Math

2 modules · 22 questions · 35 min each

  • Algebra — linear equations, systems, inequalities in context
  • Advanced Math — quadratics, exponentials, nonlinear systems
  • Problem Solving & Data Analysis — ratios, percentages, statistics, probability
  • Geometry & Trigonometry — circles, triangles, right-triangle trig

Exam Skill Layer

  • Module 1 accuracy strategy — how the adaptive jump is earned
  • Desmos calculator technique inside Bluebook
  • Timing splits and the 30-second abandon rule
  • Guess control: no negative marking, never leave a blank

Who this is for

Is SAT tutoring right for your student?

  • Students in Grade 10–12, A-Level or FSc applying to universities in the USA
  • Students targeting merit scholarships where SAT is the deciding number
  • Retakers stuck between 1200 and 1400 who need the ceiling broken
  • O-Level and Matric students starting early to build a two-year runway

What you get

Outcomes we commit to

  • A realistic target score agreed in week one, not guessed at the end
  • Full-length practice under real timing every week in the final phase
  • Written feedback after each mock — not just a number
  • Support with the College Board account, test centre booking and score sends

Diagnosis first

SAT marks slip for a small number of fixable reasons

We find which one it is in the first session, then teach against it. Vague effort does not move a score; a named cause does.

Module 1 accuracy is leaking

Students rush the first module to "save time" for the second. On an adaptive test that caps the score before the hard questions are ever seen. We rebuild pacing from the front.

Grammar is memorised, not decided

Standard English Conventions questions are solvable in seconds with a rule chain. Students who recall rules as trivia hesitate, lose time, and then rush the reading set.

Math is right but slow

Most Math loss above 650 is timing, not knowledge. Desmos technique and algebraic shortcuts convert correct-but-slow into correct-and-banked.

Practice without an error log

Taking mock after mock without classifying mistakes repeats the same errors. Every paper here ends with a written log the tutor reviews in the next session.

The plan

How the course actually runs

A written plan agreed before the first paid lesson, so you always know what stage the student is in.

Diagnostic

Week 1

  • Full Bluebook-style baseline test
  • Question-level error classification
  • Target score and realistic timeline agreed with parents
  • Study calendar built around school workload

Content Repair

Weeks 2–6

  • Topic teaching for every weak domain
  • Grammar rules taught as decision trees, not lists
  • Math taught from first principles where gaps are old
  • Homework marked and returned with comments

Exam Technique

Weeks 7–10

  • Timed module drills under real conditions
  • Rhetorical synthesis and evidence question methods
  • Desmos shortcuts for algebra and graphing
  • Pacing rebuilt so no module is rushed

Test Simulation

Final phase

  • Weekly full-length mock tests
  • Written error log reviewed in the next session
  • Score projection tracked against target
  • Test-day routine, ID and Bluebook check

How it works

From first message to first lesson

Four steps, no directory to sort through, no commitment before the demo.

01

Tell us about the student

Curriculum, board, current grade, target grade, and the topics actually causing trouble. Two minutes on WhatsApp is usually enough.

02

We match the tutor

We hand-pick one specialist for your exact specification. You are not sent a directory to sort through — the match is our job.

03

Free trial lesson

A real teaching session with the tutor who would teach the course. No payment, no card details, no commitment.

04

Lessons and weekly reports

The same tutor every week, a written plan, and a progress report to the parent so nobody is guessing whether it is working.

ATAcademic TeamTutor Matching & Academic Oversight

Every enquiry reaches the academic team first. They read what the student is actually stuck on, identify the exact board and paper, and match a subject specialist who teaches that syllabus week in and week out — not the next tutor on a list. The team sets the study plan, reviews progress reports before they are sent, and steps in to reassign a tutor if the match is not right after the first lesson. They also answer the WhatsApp line during teaching hours.

Questions parents ask

SAT — frequently asked questions

Most students need 10 to 16 weeks at two sessions per week. A student starting near 1100 and targeting 1400+ usually needs the longer end. We tell you the honest timeline after the diagnostic test, not before.

The Digital SAT only. It is a module-adaptive test taken in the Bluebook app, and the strategy is materially different from the retired paper test.

Yes. Above 1400 the work becomes precision: eliminating the last two or three careless errors per module and controlling timing. That is a different course from a foundation course, and we run it differently.

Yes. Full-length Bluebook-style mocks are included in the course, marked by the tutor with a written error log — not auto-scored and forgotten.

Yes. The trial lesson is a real teaching session with the tutor who would teach the course. No card details are required. Message our academic team on WhatsApp at +92 300 4568992 to book it.
